Ethridge Family Farm

Ethridge Family Farm is a small, family owned and operated pesticide-free farm
in the foothills of western North Carolina.
It consists of my husband Dustin and I,
and any family members we can drag into helping out.

I work full time at a therapeutic riding center
and blog in my spare time (ha! What is that?)
Dustin is an educator but spends his nights & weekends working on
the maaaany projects we have for the Farm.

I love gardening and help out as much as I can between chasing our little Sprout
& the 1489 loads of laundry I have to tackle on the weekends.
My main job is to keep Dustin fed and hydrated and come up with more
ideas for him(because we just don’t have enough on our plates).

We believe that farming is a dying art, and it is one that we want to preserve and pass on to our son.
Our goal is to learn more about, and promote sustainability in farming.
We grow produce and raise livestock for our family’s consumption
and love sharing our triumphs (and fails) with you here!

How very exciting to see young adults want to keep farming alive. My most precious memories growing up included gathering veggies from grandma and grandpaw Davis farm. Can’t wait to visit you at the market. I want to can greenbeans this year, and anything else I can figure out how to. So I pray your garden grows abundantly! πŸ™‚

Thank you for the support! If everything goes according to plan, we should have lots of beans so if you want to relive some memories you can always come pick with us πŸ˜‰
